If you have been here a while you will know I am not a christmasy person. I despise it BUT this is like a freaking hallmark movie, and I do have a soft spot for those silly things! This is not the usual Jenn Plummer test the very limits of your smut poker face read. This is very tame! Even being MM!

So, River (fantastic name) LOVES loves loves Christmas but lives in a part of the US that doesn’t get snow. He is fully invested in the Hallmark dream he wants snow; he wants hot chocolate a hot burly man and kisses under the mistletoe (That hurt I need darkness and Halloween now) and after too much eggnog decides to book himself a holiday in the most Christmas place he can find Evergreen Hollow.

Easton a burly woodworker lives in Evergreen Hollow and isn’t a fan of the whole Christmas thing and the fact his little town fills up with tourists. In fact, he almost gets taken out by one in a stupid car when they crash into the snow in front of his house.

Yup queue River looking like Christmas threw up all over him in shoes that were not made for winter. Easton saves River just before a blizzard passes through trapping them both in his little cabin for a few days. River is hilarious he is constantly in motion and will chat up a storm whereas Easton is quite and well grumpy in his little cabin away from people with just his dog for company.

Easton slowly starts to realise that River, for all his annoying habits, is starting to grow on him and he would quite like it if he would stay. These two are so funny I liked how River wanted to do a whole heap of touristy stuff and gave Easton back the magic of his small town.

This is funny and dare I say it heartwarming. For someone who is a total Christmas grinch my heart may have just grown a teeny tiny bit to include this book!
