Holeeeee shit! This book is AMAZING! Dove and Vance made me feel all the feels. Yeah, I had a touch of hay fever at the end and was quietly wiping the tears away.
Elle is such an amazing writer you will laugh, cry gasp and ohhh the smut these two are HOT!
So, Dr Vance Falcon is an older doctor/scientist who Dove Fairfax tried her darndest not to fall for especially after one night that almost torpedoed her career. Luckly for her he moved to Singapore, so she didn’t have to be reminded of him every single day……….except now he is back and determined to put things right and win Dove back. And boy does he go HARD on the wooing. Poor Dove doesn’t stand a chance she is getting bombarded from all angles and all she wants is to forget he ever existed.
The story between these two is absolutely heartbreaking! The things they have both been dealing with in the 3 years they have been separated will honestly rip your heart out. Yes, there is the dreaded miscommunication trope, but this is also a story of loss, of living to help your family and what happens when you keep secrets.
This was such a well written thoughtful book. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!
