At this point in time, I’m thinking about checking myself into Cowboy rehab! Ive done it again and read yet another book with a grumpy Cowboy, but this one is also the sheriff oh the grumpy food groups!!

Ledger Hayes does not colour outside the lines he is stoic, loyal, smart and kindhearted all wrapped up in a Sheriff/Cowboy combo that I didn’t know I needed! He is tired of the drugs that are being dealt in Paxton, and he wants to take down the major players he just needs the right angle so he can dot all the Is and cross all the Ts.

Shiloh Sullivan is a bad ass, she has been with Grey Kensington since high school, and he is a total piece of shit! She catches him in bed with her best friend and then he puts hands on her when she goes to get the rest of her stuff! Shiloh is a hard worker and wishes she had ditched the loser long before it turned violent, but she is stuck in a small town where everyone knows everyone’s business! Her retaliation made me want to hug her and celebrate with her but of course it makes things just a little bit worse.

Ledger finds Shiloh preparing to sleep in her car behind the diner a few day after he saw her in the clinic after the last visit from Grey. He is such a gentleman that he lets her stay at his place and comes up with a way that can possibly save both their asses from the yucky Grey a fake marriage.

I loved this book I was rooting for Shiloh while my heart was breaking for her, and I was watching her become a bad ass woman who doesn’t need anyone and is finally living for herself while being protected by a gorgeous man who helps her and lets her heal and work through her issues. This book has the right amount of spice and suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat.
