In Love and Revenge – Elle Nicoll

Firstly, Elle Nicoll is my OG ride or die author. She says she is releasing a new book you better believe I’m juggling everything to make this a priority! Cause my god can she spin a story!

This book at 70% blew my tiny little mind. There is no one who is more a genius at taking little throw away comments or remarks and weaving them into a twisty little piece of perfection than Elle.

Rafael Fairfax sweet heavenly angels this man! The CEO of Guardian Fairfax and a man dead set on revenge and finding out where the hell his money went! Aurora Throne is his nemesis after her dad was convicted for fraud and stealing money (Rafe’s money to be exact) he is convinced she knows where its hidden and has made it his mission to find out. It also doesn’t help that Aurora is his sister’s best friend.

HA HA the best laid plans never go that easily and when you get to know these two this makes the story that much sweeter.

Aurora is dealing with the fall out of her dad’s arrest and incarnation. Of course, they lost everything when he was convicted and she is learning to live with her new normal. She posts vlogs of her outfits on social media (and this serves as a good lesson that not everything is as it seems on social media). Posts that a certain grumpy CEO can’t seem to stop watching. Aurora is 100% positive that her dad is innocent and she just needs to find some proof of this. Of course, everyone thinks she is utterly crazy BUT there is something there and she just needs to find it. Dove is Aurora’s only friend left after the whole conviction drama went down and even, she doesn’t know quite how badly Aurora has fallen.

Ok so Rafe is now in the top 5 book boyfriends written by Elle (my love of Dax Silver is still unmatched, Time with Mr Silver – I promise it’s worth it) he is destroying himself to gain his father’s approval and the skeletons in his closet come out to play more than once. But my god when he is all in, he is all in and the sexy scenes in this book are…. phew!!!

This book is an absolute smut masterpiece and the way everything is tied up and linked is a work of art! I can’t wait for more of this series. I adore that each of the brothers have celestial names (Angelo, Gabe, Rafael) and then there is sweet Dove the only sister of the Fairfax fam. I’m hoping it’s her story next, I need more tea about Dr Vance!
