So, this story is all about Dyson Banks (one of the infamous Banks brothers – You met Nick Banks in The Hookup situation and Asher Banks in the Boss Situation) He is sent to stay at Coconut Beach Island when the board decides he needs a holiday for the first time in 7 years. To hide who he is he checks in as Carter Banks (his middle name) and goes mainly unnoticed for almost 2 months. While he is there, he starts a “fling” with Wendy.

Wendy has returned to Coconut Beach to help run her Grans inn. She loves the inn and the island but is worried about the state of things and is trying to turn their fortunes around. Her Gran is a Whiley character and goddamn I aspire to be like her when I’m old Mimosa’s a 7am is a big yes. She assumes Carter is another uber rich snob and to be honest he starts off a bit of a demanding diva but oh boy when these two get started phew!

So of course, the summer fling turns into more, Wendy who is just out of a 5-year relationship with a guy who used he like a pawn in his life finally remembers just who she is and starts to realise that life on island time is exactly what she needs.

this is literally the perfect beach read. Find yourself a hammock, a stiff drink (coconut crush anyone) and a hot bartender and relax with this stunner of a book. The rest of the series is written by different authors but don’t let that put you off because there are some interesting stories on Coconut Beach Island!
