Oh yes, my main cowboy dealer is back! I have been mourning the loss of the Quiet Horsemen so hearing there is a book that gone back to Purgatory falls I have never signed up for an ARC so fast!

This book is perfect!

Anson is a widower and a single dad he is surviving but not living he owns a construction company and is trying to build that up while raising his son Ford. He has some serious skeletons in his closet and keeps a lot of things to himself. But slowly starts sharing things with Bristol so she can see that not everything is a sunshine and happiness as it seemed.

Bristol has been in an on again off again relationship with Chris for years and now its firmly off as he is locked up in prison. Bristol owns a secret sex shop and helps Anson raise her nephew. She wants to move on from Chris after he dumped her for the last time from prison. She is the kind of chick who gives too many second chances and can’t see that she is being taken advantage of. She also doesn’t know what to do with her feelings that she has for her best friends’ older brother!

I don’t want to give too much a way because yes, you should be racing out to read this. BUT Chapter 2 and the events that unfold is quite possibly one of best character arcs! It cracked me up and is absolutely perfect for these two. So, it helped them both realise there might be reciprocal feelings there and after the embarrassment wore off, they realised that they might be able to help each other scratch an itch.

I loved that most of the Quiet horsemen had a feature in this book and the drama is perfect there is no third act breakup, and Bristol gets over herself eventually after stumbling across some of the secrets that Anson keeps.

This was an easy read and had great characters.
