When this landed in my inbox you better believe that everything else was put on the back burner…. life what life! I adored Volk and then to know his missing brother was getting his own story I was here for it.

So Vameer is a Vampire who decides he needs a lie down so sets himself up for a nap for what he thinks will be a couple of months no biggie……Fast forward 103 years and Rune is enjoying her honey latte on her 30th birthday when she goes home and is about to open her birthday gift from her parents when she accidentally cuts herself. Then woosh she is outside a cave getting rained on.

So now you have to read the book to find out what happens next!

Vameer has to re-find his mate Rune and get up to speed with how the world has moved on while he has been asleep. Of course, the path to true love is never smooth and he has to deal with a vampire king who is hell bent on getting revenge on Vameer for things he did years ago. This is a top shelf Shifter, Vampire, Druid world and I am here for it! I want to know more I love that SJ Tilly teases the next book and leaves you intrigued enough to want to keep reading.

The BEST thing about SJ Tilly is her chapters they are short and give you just enough to hold your attention. Plus, it makes it so easy to read. I love this new world she has created when alts are out in the open and most humans aren’t dicks about it of course there are always a few who ruin it for everyone else!

I do recommend reading Volk because it helps set this book up and introduces you to the characters that show up again in this book. Plus, Volk and Vameer are brothers so it’s like the continuation of this world. I’m also dying to know more about Dread he sounds so hot in a mysterious sort of way!
