This has to be Jen’s spiciest book yet! And holy hell does it live up to the tag line “where the students aren’t the problem it’s the adults who won’t behave”

This is the perfect series starter. A headmaster who has the weight of the world on his shoulders after a disastrous fundraiser from the year before and trying to live up to the board and his father’s expectations means that Theo Wright is drowning trying to do the right thing by putting everything before his own happiness.

Then there is the new teacher Elenaor Hart a passionate teacher who almost gave up on the career she loves. She is looking at Wetherly Prep as a fresh start. Smaller classroom size and more room to focus. She volunteers to help with this year’s fundraiser and can’t work out why no one else will touch it and why Headmaster Wright needs to be all over everything.

These two have to work together and Eleanor has the perfect idea for the fundraiser she also is the prefect sunshine to the headmasters grumpy. This is an age gap romance, but Jen has firmly cemented herself as the queen of Age gaps this is delicious and they try so so hard to be professional that when they finally say fuck it and get together, I swear my kindle was at risk of melting!

Theo Wright could almost almost knock Stern Brunch Daddy Kyle off his spot as my top Jen man. He is sweet when he needs to be by oh sweet baby cheeses when he is demanding it is so freaking hot!

There is no third act breakup. They have to navigate how they move forward with their relationship, but it’s actually handled really well, and it makes the story better than being some far-fetched rubbish like some books are.
