Well, I procrastinated the heck out of reading this book because I don’t want this to be the last in the Queens & Heathens series, but it is so I need to get over myself!
Oooff Jenn knows how to hit you in the feels, and she just keeps those hits coming in this one! Don’t be a trash panda and try to read this book without reading the other 3 books in fact if you haven’t already read them based off my reviews what the heck! This book sort of ties into Malice’s book its set around the same event one of the club’s brothers has been ambushed and killed, and this is the fallout from that.
Wrath or Axel is the club secretary; he is overseeing the rebuild of the night club that was torched in Sin’s book and is responsible for making sure that the club members mostly adhere to the rules. When their brother is killed, they are looking for the guy who lured him to his death and what they find is much worse the Kingsnakes where an upstanding club like the Hell’s Heathens until they got taken over in a bloody coup by an evil mofo by the name of Cain when he is released from prison.
Sienna is the ex-president of the Kingsnake’s daughter and has been hidden since Cain go out of prison because Cain thinks she is property and is after her. She meets Wrath and some of the other Heathen’s when they come to town looking for info. She is so scared but decides to talk and gives them a phone number where they can reach her brother Saint who is still part of the gang but wants his club back!
This story is pure Jenn perfection the twists and turns leave you breathless. This is a story of finding the strength to keep going after someone trying to destroy you and what happens when you find someone you can finally be safe with and lay your weapons down and just be.
I really hope that Saint gets a spin off series but I’m definitely holding my breath to see what Jenn comes up with next. Jenns books always deal with real life situations with such care and grace and her writing is next level awesome. Her books lure you in and keep you hooked. Before you know its 2am and you need to adult the next day!
