I adored this book it’s so good. Ok the premise is a little out of left field but just ignore that and enjoy some good smut!

Penelope is the town librarian and is driven mad by Declan’s antics namely when he parks his bike on the foot path outside the library. They argue like foreplay and the whole town notices so Mabel the towns twisted grandma who slings sex toys steps in she forces the two of them to live together for a month in an apartment of her choosing or do 500 hours community service. (this is when you know its fiction cause this aint happening IRL).

The lesser of the two evils is co- habitation for a month and that’s what happens. Our sweet librarian Pen is hiding a secret she is actually a published smut author, and her 3rd book has taken off so she needs to write the 4th one BUT she is stuck how can she write about something she has never experienced?

Enter Declan (all the book boyfriend food groups) Tattoo shop owner, Motorcycle driving, wears a scowl like RBF, bad boy who has been around the block a few times! He works out Pen’s little secret one night and agrees to lessons! And holy the lessons are HOT! The smut in this book is top shelf!

Having Pen and Declan open up to each other and revel the secrets they keep hidden is so good. I have to warn you this books third act road bump (cause it’s not a full on break up) is the dreaded miscommunication trope (sigh) but it’s not drawn out or painful and the lovely little twisty bit in the epilogue setting up the next book definitely has my attention!
