Books of Tash

This is a bit different from the usual SJ Tilly (this is a whole new world there is no cross overs) and my usual books. It’s a vampire romance and its delicious! I will admit I LOVE a good vampire romance (I’m unnaturally addicted to Don’t Hex and Drive by Juliette Cross) yes, I read the Twilight series no I didn’t watch the movies cause ICK, but I’m drawn to that side of the fantasy realm (no Faries ever tho).

Volik is an ancient vampire who works from Stalden University he is trying to pin down the scent that’s cloying with him when he suddenly hulks out and works out that the scent is actually his mate.

Nix (BEST NAME EVER) has just started as a journalism teacher at Stalden and is indulging in a cupcake for her 30th birthday when she feels a pull towards the door of her class. It slams open and before her is a hulking vampire who is seriously hot!

This is a fated mates’ story without the angst. Volik falls hard and fast and does everything he can to make Nix his. Oh, the smut is scorching in this book.

Of course, there is an enemy of Volik’s who decides that he is going to mess with his mate. This does not end well for him ha ha! But it adds suspense to the story, and I love how SJ Tilly structures her chapters, so you switch POVs quickly this helps the story flow and holds you captive.

The ending in this book perfectly sets up book 2 and I’m hooked!! I can’t wait to see where this series heads. This was more of a set up book to the world and the characters but it’s also a pretty good story!

I suggest you use this book to escape the world. Dont think to hard about the timelines and the fact there are Vampires, Shifters and Druids. Just enjoy the ride.
