Oh, I have been looking forward to this one and Olivia didn’t disappoint!

Paige needs to save her family’s company, and she finds out that Rafe has been secretly buying shares in the company so to make the majority she needs the 10% she gets on her marriage and the ones he has squirreled away. She approaches him with a business proposal to actually get married and then between them they will have the majority of the shares and will be in control of the business.

Rafe agrees and after a quickie court room marriage they head to his place in Lake Como, Italy for the summer. As the head of the Maison Valmont’s fashion empire, he is based mostly in Paris and Italy. He has a reputation as the King of Luxury and does he live up to it. This book is so decadent! Private jets, Multiple cars, designers on tap and a shopping spree that made me weak at the knees.

Paige and Rafe have to sell their nuptials and convince everyone that they are madly in love whilst practically hating each other the tension between these two is off the charts! It’s a slow burn and Paige tries her very best to press all of Rafe’s buttons but underneath all the hate these two are made for each other and are able to see the hurts and the things that each other hides. Rafe deals with survivors’ guilt and Paige deals with a constant need to run the second things get hard. The way these two show up for each other while being at each other’s throats is a work of genius!

This is book two in the Billionare games series and its one of the best Olivia Hayle books in my opinion!
