Oh, holy smutness this series is so HOT!! I have just come back from lying in the sun in Fiji with Ramsey and Grant Stockton keeping me company. The perfect by the pool companions!

The first book in the series is Bull Rush and let me tell you this had been languishing on my TBR for freaking ages. I am kicking myself for not picking it up sooner! The book is about Ramsey and Hazel. Hazel goes to get a loan to expand her Inn but finds out she is still married to Ramsey Stockton. Ramsey is currently in jail and is at his parole hearing when he finds out that he is also still married to Hazel and needs to be paroled back to his wife’s address his hometown of Purgatory falls. Ramsey plays football professionally, but his time inside has meant he has missed out on the preseason and there is no way he is fit enough. So, it home to the little wife he goes.

Hazel is a meh character somehow in the “divorce” she ended up with the Stockton family ranch and Inn. She is engaged to be married to another guy so Ramsey comes up with a plan so that Hazel has to pretend to be his wife for 90 days while he is on parole and then he will give her the Ranch and a million dollars……….I know this is a movie plot I just can’t think of the name of the movie. Indecent proposal?? Any way the new man agrees to this whole thing waaaaay to easily and the game is afoot. Come on we know what’s going to happen here and happen it does! There is a bit of suspense throughout this, and people learn you don’t mess with the Stockton brothers!

The second book of this series is Dark Horse, and this one is off the Richter scale hot! Grant Stockton is the head of the Quiet Horsemen and has the world on his shoulders. He promised his best friend that he would take care of his sister Dakota who is the owner of the Seven sins bar in town. Grant is the landlord of the bar and Dakota aptly nicknames him the devil. She is run ragged working at the bar and looking after her dad who had a stroke and trying the keep in out of the red.

She is supplementing her income with some “only fans” type side hustle and Grant accidentally finds her site! He decides if she wants money, he will be her only customer, and she has to send him the pictures she has been sending the randoms! He tries so hard not to lean into his feelings for her, but it proves harder than he though. When some turf wars go down Grant needs to clean house and take care of business, so he sends Dakota away but then he comes for her and its FIRE!!!
