Books of Tash

So, I have spent the last two days listening to my very first Audio Book.

I’ve popped my audio book cherry if you will………Do I love it and will it replace my love of book books hmmm not so much!

I was lucky enough to have one of my favourite authors give me an ALC of one of my favourite books and I wanted to listen to see one what all the fuss is about and two if it really would be a good way to ingest books. Plus, it was a favourite book, and I was curious to hear if it sounded like what was in my head when I read it.

Sure, having a Jason Stathamish voice in my ear growling “be a good girl” is a novelty to a boring Monday morning of doing my 9-5.
BUT I love music way too much to not have it in my life nothing beats driving to work with a sick beat to amp you up to make it through the day (and sometimes I need music to drown out the ancients during the day). When I read it’s like watching a movie I don’t notice the “she whispers” or he growled” it just happens in my head.

At least now I know I’m not an audio book girlie and am happy to just curl up and read my book like normal. And since its coming into winter, I’m hoping to be curling up a lot more!
