Finding Home – Jenn McMahon

This is Jenn’s new series, and I am fully here for this! This book was SO GOOD!

Blair is a politician’s wife until she finds her husband balls deep in his secretary. She leaves his cheating ass and does some healing at her sisters then decides to buy a tiny home in Bluestone lakes and moves across the country with her adorable dog Reginald (such a good name for a corgi).

Griffin owns the Seven stools bar in Bluestone lakes and only works the lunch shift cause he hates people (hello spirit animal). He also runs the Barlow ranch. Griffin is grumpalicous and used to live in Blair’s tiny home. Now he’s her only next-door neighbour! He is not impressed that the city chick with the sports car is in close proximity.

Griffin got destroyed by his ex which turned him into the grump he is today. The people in his life want nothing more than to have the happy Griffin back. Blair is delightfully quirky and gets into some interesting situations when her hot next-door neighbour is around. She slowly chips away at the grumpy exterior and makes Griffin feel things that he thought he never would.

Nan is an amazing side character. I want to be her when I grow up, she is in the background pulling strings and organising Karaoke to drive Griffin nuts. She is the heart of Bluestone and is everyone’s Nan.

This is going to be an amazing series, and I can’t wait for the next book.
