Books of Tash

Ok Ok I know my love for Lyra Parish is unmatched and I bang on about how every book of hers is the best I’ve ever read and guess what that’s not going to change anytime soon. I am an official slut for anything Lyra writes at this stage I would probably froth over her shopping list.

The Hockey Situation is EPIC! Halfway through I was telling my faves that this is a book to be downloading the second it hits kindle! Ok some context Patterson is a hockey player a bloody good hockey player and his been in love with his identical twin brothers ex-fiancée for FOREVER. Oh, and also, she is his coaches very off-limits daughter!

Kendall was an aspiring Olympic figure skater until and injury derailed her dreams she is now an artist and has just spent 5 years in the UK and is back in town on a commission to paint portraits of the Angels team. She HATES Patterson with the fire of a thousand suns and has no time for his anything (face, smart mouth, amazing body).

The banter and hate between these two is next level and adds to the sexual tension cause you know these two just need to hate fuck it out and get it out of their systems everyone sees it the team, the staff, their friends and the coach! He sits them both down and tells them to bury the shit and be adults and get over it cause it’s affecting the team. So, they do they get over it by getting under each other!

They start hooking up in secret because they need to protect Pattersons job, the team, Pattersons twin brother, Kendall’s bestie (who is Pattersons sister) and the coach if this gets out Patterson loses everything because coach has one rule don’t date my daughter!

Again, this is a masterclass in how opinions shape people’s perceptions. You think Patterson is the evil twin but is he really?

I absolutely adored this book. I loved the sexual tension the secrets and when the truth finally comes out and these two finally drop their weapons and realise that they are end game and have been all along oh the feels.
