Stirred – Charity Ferrell

Stirred – Charity Ferrell

This book has been haunting my kindle since June 25. It’s one of the many free stuff your kindle books I have that at the time I think sound awesome but just lurk in the background cause my TBR is totally out of control.

Cohen is a single dad to Noah. Noah’s mum decided she didn’t want to be a mother before he was born (this is a new twist on the single dad trope and I’m here for it). Cohen is super protective of his son which is fair enough Heather’s parents tried to adopt him off Cohen and that went wrong so he has moved and cut the family out of Noah’s life.

Noah gets sick and Cohen takes him to the hospital where they are treated by Jamie (Heather’s younger sister who had a bit of a crush on Cohen). Jamie begs to be let into Noah’s life she is totally shocked when she sees them in the ER and doesn’t want the opportunity to pass her by.

Slowly she starts being part of Noah’s life and also Cohen’s. Cohen and Jamie try to ignore the feelings growing between them. Even though Heather is a total piece of shit Jamie doesn’t want there to be drama.

Well of course Heather comes back into the picture and decides to live up to her total bitchiness. I felt so sorry for Jamie because her parents are bending over backwards to accommodate Heather and give zero about how their idiot choice affect Jamie. But because Jamie has always gone along with everything to make everyone happy, they don’t think about the stress they are causing.

You need to read this book to find out if Heather finally gets put in her place and if Cohen and Jamie can actually act on their feelings and make things work.
