Like fine wine Amy McGavin keep getting better and better and Built for Love is the perfect little curl up and escape read. This little gem landed in my inbox on Christmas day and what a gift!
Struan (I just know I butchered his name in my head…. cause what now??) is a single dad, contractor, guitar playing, man bun wearing hottie! and I am so here for it! He has his daughter on the weekends and is working on his neighbour’s new salon. He is the happy go lucky guy that no one really worries about because he’ll be right…. right
Ainsley has just moved to town and is opening a hair salon. She has a daughter and has just got out of a bad relationship in her last small town. She had to get away from the stares and the gossip when her relationship ended (I’m not telling you how read it and find out!) she wants to just stick to herself in the new town and focus on her daughter and her salon.
Oh, if only it was that easy……..the meet cute in this book is so good and the continual bumping into her HOT next-door neighbour. She realises there is more to Struan than meets the eye and the mask of happy go lucky that he shows everyone. I adored Struan, he was there for his daughter and wanted to spend time with her. Plus, he was mature enough to know when he was a dick and actually made amends for it.
The single dad series is so good im just so sad that there is only one more!
