I have been hanging out for this book! Willa is running her family farm and need a grant to make ends meet however the grant is only given to couples or families and she has neither, so she goes to the local to drown her sorrows.

Lincoln runs his family’s bar and used to be joined at the hip with Willa (no idea what happened but now she hates him) He has always noticed her and when he finds her a few drinks deep he works out she has been carrying the world on her already dodgy back (again only passing mention of something happening to her) and decides to help the only way he knows how by being her fake husband so that she can get her grant and save her farm.

I really wanted to like Willa but my god she is a stubborn pain in the ass! Yeah, I am totally for women being all self-sufficient, but she almost made me stop reading. She has chronic back pain and just kept trying to do everything herself and pushing Lincoln away! Lincoln is a goddam saint cause I would have walked away! Her brother is also a dick he is Lincoln’s best friend and ok he works with Drs without borders but has pretty much left his sister to drown on the family farm. He comes back and loses it because they are “fake” married and adds more shit to Willa’s already full plate but offers no solutions!

When Willa finally pulls her head out of her ass and realises what has been in front of her this whole freaking time……Is she too late?
