Ok full disclosure I absolutely despise Christmas. I’m a total Halloween queen and usually stay well away from anything Christmas related BUT I saw this ARC, and it had a lobster fisherman in it and was giving me It Happened One Summer Vibes (Tessa Bailey so good!) so I had to dive right in.

Stella is sent by her loser boss to Holiday Harbour, Maine to convince the Adams family (this made me giggle) to sell their prime real estate so that they can develop it. Stella HATES Christmas so she is a bit annoyed to be sent to Maine the week before Christmas to hassle this family into selling,

Ridge is a gorgeous Lobster fisherman who is captain of his own boat (and could be captain of my heart) who is the eldest Adam’s and is no way selling his families land to a developer no matter how cute she is!

Of course, these two meet in the cutest way running into each other in the supermarket and Stella checks him out with her groceries. But when they find out who each other is its instant hate. This is a enemies to lovers done so freaking well!

Stella has a shit past which is why she hates Christmas. Throw in Ridge’s meddling but sweet as pie mum, a forced proximity and this is a recipe for some Christmas loving!

Dare I say it this is an adorable Christmas book it’s not too heavy on the Christmas so it’s not awful to read but this would be a perfect little holiday read.
