Forgive me father for I have sinned! and I enjoyed every second of it. This book is unhinged and possibly one of the hottest things I have read this year!
After reading the other two books in the Quiet Horseman series I knew Levi Stockton was going to be the hottest and most depraved but I was not ready for how!
Zephyrine Schaefer is the daughter of the governor of Colorado’s daughter. Abbott Schaefer is on the Quiet Horseman’s hit list, and they are hoping that his daughter will help them finally take him down. You do need to read the other two books in this series or none of this will make a lick of sense. But they are both so worth it!
Levi tracks Zephyrine down in the most of unlikeliest of places a convent where she is preparing to give her final vows and commit to becoming a nun. He poses as a Priest to get closer to her and find out what she knows, and they both develop feelings for each other. Throw in some light bondage, a bit of kidnapping and this is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. When you find out the extent of Zephyrine’s story you will see that behind the nun façade is a bad ass bitch who you don’t want to mess with!
Levi wants to be her avenging angel and unleash his deranged side on anyone who has ever harmed her. And boy does he. There was one scene in this book I should not have been reading while pretending to work! When you get to it you will know!
Urgh, I want to tell you all the things about this book but I don’t want to ruin it or give away spoilers. The twists in this story are epic, and it shows Maggie Rawdon’s writing at its very best. I adore this series and I’m so glad I get just one more. I love a series that sucks you in and has a recurring story line throughout. This is one of the best examples of this.
