Books of Tash

Well, this is the first book I’ve ever read that has lived up to its title and more! This book quite literally wrecked me!

This is MM so I’ll put that out there first I understand this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but at the end of the day I believe love is love and this love is BEAUTIFUL!

But please take my word on this clear your TBR and jump straight into this! You could read the other books in the series start with Unravel me (I did a post on this one if you want to skim that) but you don’t have to.

This book is written so well the characters are so amazing both beautiful broken boys who find each other in the shit show that is life!

Carter is the youngest Hayes brother. he works in marketing at the distillery and has always been a playboy who seems to cruise through life. When the reality is much different.

Giffin (Finn) Nash works for his asshole dad as a travel writer (and has been trying to write about Aspen Ridge. which enrages his dad) His dad can’t accept he is gay and likes to emotionally abuse him and tear him down. Finn is just looking for someone to be in his corner and love him. My cold dark heart actually broke for Finn.

Finn sort of blackmails Carter to spending the weekend at his beach house this allows them to explore what is happening between them away from the noise of their everyday lives. Carter is struggling with his feelings and being with a man for the first time.

I really think this is one of the best books I have read. Carter and Finn are both trying to make their families proud. It shows how damaging other family members can be and that love can come across as overbearing and at times a little crazy. I despised Finn’s father and how someone could be so unfeeling towards their own son.

Carter and Finn are so perfect for each other and when Carter stops fighting and gives into his feelings this story is amazing. Jenn Plummer is a fantastic writer, and her books have so much feeling and are so realistic.
