We finally get Sages story (Sarge if you know from the other books) confident and secure in her body, has a mouth like a sailor and knows how to ask for what she wants. Sage is hired by Beau’s sister Tessa to help with the PR on his new ranch. They have a smoking meet cute months before she accepts the job.

Beau Hartford is a retired bull rider who is in a toxic marriage he is counting down till he escapes and should not be even thinking about the gorgeous new PR chick with her dirty mouth and take no prisoner’s attitude. But he does and they do and when they do it is melt the kindle HOT. This book like all of Eliott Rose’s tested my read smut with a straight face limits!! The spice is definitely spicing in this book.

Of course, the soon to be ex wifey puts in an appearance and keeps moving the goal posts. Both Beau and Sage want to make their families proud (urgh the pressure to be the perfect child fucks so much up……….why do we do this to ourselves) Beau doesn’t want to be like his dad and Sage wants to be perfect so her mum doesn’t move on with her new family without her.

What I like about Elliotts writing is not everything is just wham bam thank you ma’am and sorted out in an unrealistic time frame. Beau has to fight for Sage and do his grand gesture when he is actually free of his manipulating ex.

I’ll leave you with this……..I know who the next character is and what the story is about and sweet cowboys in heaven you are going to want to read this one!!
