Claire Kingsley is one of my favourite all time authors and Dirty Martini Running Club is the absolute best! It’s my Claire Kinglsey gateway drug. This is the 4th Book in the series (Told you!!)

Ok Nora Lakes is my spirit animal she is soooo bad ass!! I wish I could channel a smidge of her amazingness. She is the last one of the dirty martini running club to hook up why because she doesn’t need a man to complete her! She writes a column for an online magazine and has just brought a house in the burbs……..Cue hotness next door!

Dex St James (hmmmmmm) tattooed, single dad next door. Runs a tattoo studio and looks after his teenaged daughter. He tries really hard to stay away from the gorgeous Nora and has a bit of a grumpy vibe going. He comes to Nora’s rescue a couple of times and turns her down much to her bewilderment. But eventually comes round to sexy fun times in close proximity.

Nora is guarded and doesn’t want to fall in love, but she falls for Dex and his amazing daughter Riley. Yes, there is a third act breakup, and it sucks but the ending is always happy.

This book is about what happens when you let your walls down and put yourself out there. It’s also awesome to see how Nora helps Riley I wish I knew “just own it” growing up.
