These are the most real characters I’ve ever read!

Ok see I told you I was weird! This is book 2 of the series. But it’s my favourite. This is another series that is superb (well the first 4 are I won’t mention the 5th book)

Darby Dunwell is a bombshell barista who brings her coffee goodness to the little town of Townsend Harbour.

Ethan Townsend is the town sheriff and part of the founding family. He had ideas for the land that Darby has just purchased and isn’t too happy it’s been sold out from under him.

He tries to stick to the rules and remove the Darby shaped thorn in his side. But she is having none of that and arranges a two-finger salute send off for her Brewbies site that has some of the town clutching their pearls.

You learn more about what makes Ethan such a stick in the mud (he is in the first book Nevermore bookshop, but you don’t really have to read that to enjoy this) and try as he might he can’t hide his feelings that are rapidly developing for gorgeous Darby.

Darby is a breast cancer survivor and is seriously kick ass (she is one of my favourite FMCs of all time) Her friends are hot as well!! (you need to follow this book with Bazaar Girls)

The writing is amazing, and the story is believable. Unfortunately, the last book in the series is a hot mess. I don’t want to be a downer, but I suggest you give that a miss!
